Labor day weekend I went out there and found that on the face's right side where the eye seems to be closed, like it doesn't want to look over there. About 15 feet down and to the face's right is a Spanish mine. Its filled in with some medium sized rocks and inside is a humdinger of a "death trap" two medium sized stones thats holding up about a 3 ton slab of rock. Just down hill from there is another trail running north and south and the area down from the mine is littered with what looks like diamonds, but they're just tiny quartz gravel. But its real pretty lookin. I would imagine there would be some way of counter balancing that big rock on top because there are some big rocks up there too. But the rocks are made of these tiny quartz rocks that just glitter in the sun.
