Figgy,
I tried to send a picture of the crabs, in a PM I have for trade, and was not able to attach the pictures but I figured I would let others take a look as well.
Just let me know what you think and which one you like. I do have some that would require some cleaning and I add more all the time. Some better than others goes without saying.

I also want to show off some of the beauty that the Calycocers ammonites display when they are cut and polished properly. This one in particular is the one my wife wants to keep as her own personal specimen. After all she does have first choice as to what I bring home, weather it be fossils or jewelry.
Composition of specimen is primarily calcite and hemitite.

I'm kinda glad you couldn't figure out how to attach the pictures in an e-mail.   I'm really enjoying them.   The top cast is so detailed I almost feel like I need to jerk my finger back from the picture to keep from getting it snapped.

The crabs look like "Notopocorystes" and the ammonite "Calycoceras".  I'm gonna guess upper Woodbine and/or lower Eagle Ford formations.

Lance your guess was posted in an earlier submission of some of the other specimens I have on this forum.
Yes, the Calycoceras from the Woodbine and the Notopocorystes from the Lower Eagleford.

Have we met? You look familiar.
Have you attended any of the Fossilmania shows?

I went to your forum and I see we are into some of the same stuff.....
I have sold off a lot of my specimens wholesale and individually over the years. Had a lot of them stolen too. That's another story. PM me and I"ll let you in on a warning about someone. Can't post it here, I was told it could be warrented as slander but it is truly a warning.
He was the only person who was ever banned from Fossilmania and the only member of the Austin group who was tossed out of the club.

Hey out4gold, thanks for posting your beautiful crabs, I love them all, What would you like to trade for? Jewelry or fossils? Let me know, I'm willing to trade, even though I have other trades on the go as we speak.
Thank you again, hope to hear from you soon. Wink
Figgy
