I saw a documentary that they are able to manufacture diamonds now (this was a number of years ago).  How do those compare to diamonds created through other means (nature or high impact collision of a big rock hitting Russia)?

I'll be the first to admit, precious rocks are like women to me, I don't have much knowledge about them other than they both cost me a fortune to get a good one Smiley

Diamonds are one of the Worlds Great Train Robberies.

You pay through the noise for them the first time there sold then there all but worthless.

I have at least 7-10 1/4 K floating around the house here some place that no one will give me $5.00 for.

Oh so true, going through some rough times forced my hand and had to sell some of my Gold jewelery.  Cry (Wife broke leg) Insurance deductable.
The Gold and Silver exchange, I won't mention names here, told me that the diamonds did not matter.....What?Huh???
Unless they were at least .5 they were practiclly worthless.....
Yet when I agreed to sell them they took the time to check the authenticity of everyone single one of the nearly 30 diamonds in the settings.
Yeah they are worthless then why take the time "Right in front of me" to check them.
Believe me I did ask!!! Oh, it's so when they extract the stones they don't get mixed up with the simulated ones. My reply,,,,,, you should do this procedure after your customers leave, it leaves us with a bad taste in our mouth about ever comming back!!!!  Angry
