Thank you one again Luc for an interesting post.
Alchemy eventually became the science of chemistry. If it wasn't for these early chemists who risked there their lives to experiment in a time when they could be burnt at the stake for witchcraft we could still in the dark ages.
One of the most interesting stories I have heard of Alchemists was the story of the Count Saint Germain or known as General well done to the Russians. A strange character that popped up in the courts of Europe from time to time.
