I have used several detectors over the years, and nothing has the depth as this new machine. I know it is a basic detector but for the price you can not beat it.  Garrett has proven to be a great detector, I use a 16 year old freedom ace plus, it is a great relic hunter as my whites 5900. I just bought the 350 and I found it will pick up my digging shovel at 24" load and clear, now I will have to go out and try it. HH

Nothing much beats the ACE 350 for the price. Do you have the DD coil or a sniper coil? Taking mine out to hit the tot lots tonight.

I too, love my ACE 350 (DD coil), I've been a tad unwell of late but went out late yesterday for a while while, the good lady wife was at the gym. One ring pull and $5.50 with a couple of good deep hits that may be rings (the ground is rock hard and I only had my Garrett SS digger not the spade) that I will go back for tonight if she goes to the gym again.

Earlier this year I took the wife to a night netball game, she played I detected, the ground was super wet and the digging easy but I had the sensitivity two below max and as I was walking across the field with the ace a good 24" plus off the ground the 350 was picking up signals (lots of trash), I dug some of the better ones and was puling up coins 6-8" below ground but the 350 had picked them up at 30"! I won't do that in air test, great little machine!

If the ACE 350 pays for itself before the year is up, I ordering its big brother the AT-Pro!

T.

Yes lots of depth, it picks up my shovel at 24 inches no problen, it loves silver. I detect in coins only, relic and zero to much ear chatter from all the iron. Detecting
