Vision, I just got the same e-mail from Kellyco.  But you're right, wait and see!  Too often the hype and excitement of the release obscures a few critical details that are important to know... nothing is perfect!

"Short arm disease and deep pockets!"  lol  Grin  I like that, Coloma.  Mind if I borrow it?

I make this hobby support itself when it comes to equipment. If I'm not finding enough good stuff to pay for it, I'm not buying it. My logic is that I dont NEED it anyway. I just sold some finds to pay for a coil, scale, digger, and to buy some silver proof sets of coins. My coin collecting is the same way, it supports itself or makes me money. So far this year I have about half what I need to buy a $1k detector in just melt value of the jewelry Ive found. Around christmas I'll add it all up and see what  I got to spend on a new detector. AT pro? AT gold? T2? F75? Xterra? E-trac? we'll see what my finds sell for (coins, tokens, jewelry, buttons, etc..) and what I have in gold all add up to.  Wise

Sounds like another re hash, AT Pro with a smaller coil. Why not the AT pro and buy the small coil then have both.

Ever heard of the X.Terra Gold LOL , just another example of Detector makers not designing something new, all new !
I may not like the X.P. Deus but it was all new and unless the other big players respond they will lose market share against X.P. and maybe Rutus too ,but i am still to learn that new machine. Dont let its Whites look fool you into thinking its a Whites machine , it ain't.

And wheres that new E.Trac ? i'm waiting Smiley

Of course its a rehash of their newest detector, why reinvent the wheel? Improve on what you already got and save the R&D and $$. At least we hope its an improvement, time will tell. Any chance you can give us a field test on the rutus when your used to it? From what little Ive read, that thing is Da-shit!

My mate Martin has found in the last 2 weeks 7 hammered coins ,21 Roman bronze coins in very irony black sand soil and a 9k gold ring.
Most other machines wont work well or deep in that kind of soil but the Jupiter sliced through it as if it wasn't there.

I will be going out with it on the 15 and 16 of this month, no promises that i will even walk over a target but if i have half as much luck as Martin then i should be happy.
I will also check the beach with it included the wet bit after the rally.  Trust me its not da shit.
