It seems Like a good machine, but the only things that it can do that the MXTs cant
Is it is waterproof and manual ground balance, as they quoted the Iron ID feature
in the all metal mode, Whites had this feature on the Drawing boards back in 1998
when the made the MXT and the GMT Goldmaster,
So their claims that this is an all new feature is not true,
Shame on you Garretts.

Also the MXTs have 3 ways of ID'ing Iron in the all metal mode,
Those are TONE ID, VDI ID, and using Blocks on a bar graph,

Still that would still be a great machine for muddy enviroments and in the water,
they just need to tell it like it is

Kellyco sent me an email saying I can pre order one for $679.96 they have an interesting looking accessory package that goes with it. I'm going to wait until I see the field tests and other members comments about theirs before I buy one. I'm a tightwad like that!  Idea

Well thats not such a bad idea, Better safe than sorry,
Lets hope they have fixed the arm cup problem that the AT Pro suffers from
I know if you send the AT pro back to them they will replace the arm cup rod
and for your trouble they reNew your warrenty, But if they have fixed the problem
with the AT Gold then you wont have to send it back,

I hear ya Mate, I do tend to go overboard when these machines come out and always spend too much
I just cant help myself, I spend about £2500 per year and then some, but hey I'd just end up the richest
man in the grave yard, so might aswell enjoy ya self.
