I have the At Pro. I have had to use the learning curve to get used to it around water. Here is what I have found. It works well around the fresh water or salt water.
Here is what I have found that makes it work. You must ground balance when ever you go closer and deeper in the water.
Start at wet sand ground balance,(either manual are auto) make your search passes.
Move into the swash water again ground balance.
Ever time you go deeper in the water again ground balance.
If the unit is erratic a slight amount do not adjust the sensitivity you will lose depth. Instead manual ground balance either 1 or two negative or 1 or 2 positive. Depends on your beach sand.
I have posted this as a separate topic because I keep reading of others having a issue with the machine. Hope this helps.
