Start out by describing where you go to hunt. People lose jewelry when they play. If you go to a volleyball court, baseball diamond or track and field meet, the grasses are normally lush enough to hide dropped objects. Kids rarely lose jewelry so go to places where young adults or grown ups play or have family gatherings. Think of distractions. Watching a bunch of kids playing takes your mind off jewelry often until it's simply too late to remember where you dropped an item.
