Read the manual about 3 times.  Play with the detector as you go through the manual after the first reading.  Get out with it a lot and "practice, practice, practice!"                    Detecting   Keep on swingin'!             I don't have an AT Pro, but that advice applies to all detectors.

I have had mine a few weeks and havent had a lot of time to practice with it although I have found that running in Pro-Zero mode is the deepest and have found the most coins with a coin actually sounds different than other things such as cans go slow and keep swinging you will get the hang of it soon just like I hope to do LOL

That's just what my seller/friend said to me when I bought my Ace 250.  Surprisingly (not!), my typical approach to anything is to ignore reading until I reach a certain frustration level.  Glad I at least read it once before heading out.  ArfieBoy has it right.  Maybe I would increase it by adding one more read.  I am a bit slow, at times.  Tongue

Poptop, I'm doing good! How about you?  Today temp is around 50F and ground isn't frozen, sun is shining!  I was thinking about detecting today, but a friend wants to go on a motorcycle ride, so I'm going to do that.  If I have time afterward, I'll dig out one of the detectors and spend an hour or so at a park!  If I find anything I will post it!

Good luck guys with the AT Pro!
