Hello Everyone, I am looking for help with information on the Garrett CX III Power Master. I am thinking of buying one, but know nothing about it and can find very little doing internet searches. It seems to be an older model which is fine with me as long as the performance is good. Being new to the hobby, I am looking for a quality machine at a fair price to use with my sons to help get them involved also. Any feedback positive OR negative would be greatly appreciated along with your opinion of what would be a fair price for one of these machines. Thank you for all of your help and good luck out in the field.

I own the CXII , needs repair fairly often .Old technology you may want to go w/ a detector that's more up to date .

thanks herb, i did just buy it with 3 coils ( 4", 7" x 10, and 12") I paid $400. hopefully i didn't overpay and the machine performs well. thanks for the information.
