Go Up Go Down

i went detecting today with my 6 month old pp and noticed it felt and sounded different, only way i can describe it is its like it is out of balance,i have always had the button and speaker covered so no dirt can get in there,i changed battery thinking it may be that but made no difference,it has only been used less than 20 hours, does it sound like its on its way out??as i live in New Zealand im not sure how i go about getting it fixed, guess it will cost me to send it back, disappointing really as in $NZ it cost me $160 plus another $20 shipping
thanks

First, send Garrett an e-mail and have a dialog with the techs there. The company has never disappointed me.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

yep it still detects items, the vibration side has changed,it feels and sounds different the vibration feels harsher than normal and if i grab hold of the pinpointer shaft and apply small pressure the sound returns to normal, like i said it feels like something is coming loose or out of balance.thats the only way to describe it.

Did you buy it from a US seller? If so, explain that to them.
