Garrett machines are terrific at finding metals which is what they were designed to do. The biggest mistake that people make is assuming they can do it fast. It takes a slow sweep to get the deepest targets and a trained ear to hear the whispers of a deep target. Slow down your sweep and listen to what your machine says to you.
Trust in the computer between the headphones more than the one in your machine.
