That makes me feel down right at home here.  I probably am uglier than he is but one thing I know for sure is that his legs are prettier than yours!!!

I seldom take a glance at anyone especially Seldom
Hey there burning house,  thanks for the offer for more info on the "hip puppy"  Garret XL500 sea hunter.   I was reading about the Garrett Mark II and saw that this machine will eliminate pull tabs when even set on "0" and was a good ring finder.  How does this compare to the XL500 as far as this is concerned.  Also I am used to a Compass machine, which as far as I am concerned was a piece of junk although I did find some good things with it.   It of course was not a pulse.   What difference  can I expect between the pulse machine and the other.  I want to know what to expect when I go out.
Thanks

Hey homefire can you send me any info or tips and tricks about a 1989 Garrett sea hunter XL-500 pulse? i just picked one up and am new to metal detecting and would like to learn everything  can about my detector.
any tips on using it on land, is it ok for finding coins? so far I have mainly found lots of Iron nails
Any advice would be greatly appriciated.
