I have the garrett grand master hunter cxIII and everytime i turn it on it just goes into overload any idea's what would cause this problem?

yes it worked fine last year. when i took it out of storage is when the problem started.
i always take the batteries out when storing it. i put batteries in an turned it on an it went into overload. then i did a factory reset on it an same problem.
then i put different batteries in an same problem even without the coil attached it reads overload. wont detect anything just overload i am puzzled on what the problem could be.
I really like this detector and hope that it is not garbage now this is happening.
was wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

Try another Coil on it.

I only have 2 coils same with both of them. like i said it says overload without the coil attached as well. so i think it is the unit itself.
how do i contact garrett for repairs?
