I'm looking for a schematic of the garrett infinium so I can build one myself.

Does anyone have a schematic. Any adjustment procedure for the board.

Anything would be helpful.

Thanks

The infinium is a current production detector.

Only way your going to find one is to Reverse Engineer it from one.

Posting one would be a breach of Patent on our part.

Sorry.

It seems you double posted and I have cleared your second post.

Homefire is right. Check with Garrett and see if they'll give it to you. While you're at it, see about the microcontroller code, too.

I didn't realize that's not okay.

I'll have to look up the info on a US Patent search instead.

Appreciate the comments it though.

Thanks

Hey Golddigger,

If it's illegal why are you asking me to ask Garrett for their Microcontroller code?

Get real man.

I just want to build a detector and have a few questions. It seems you don't want me to do that.

Anyhow, there's plenty of interest in how these things work.

Nothing wrong with having a schematic to learn, ie; "Educational Purposes Only".

It is illegal to use it for financial gain though.

I won't ask for schematics on new units if that makes you happy.

Please don't accuse me of not asking "hard enough questions" .

The questions I had were very legitimate.

Different people have different level of knowledge.

What might be a "dumb" question in your opinion may be a real question for knowledge in my opinion.

That's why there are teachers and students.

You don't beat student till they're afraid to ask questions.

That's what this forum is about, isn't it.

To meet others, exchange ideas, and advamnce in this hobby.

Cold Weather got ya down up there?

It' 7f down here on the Mexican border, My Van broke down today. Oh and my Heater isn't working.  Propane Froze.

Bummer, Eaaa?

No one beating down any one around here.

Your not going to find much useful info on Patent search.

I've tried with other Garrett detectors.

You will come up with about 10 Patent Bits and Peaces and no one single Schematic.

Sorry we can't help more.

 Great

That's alright Homefire,

There's nothing wrong with asking.

The worst that can happen is you get a big no.

I know what you mean about patents.

Sometimes you strike it rich but most of the time they tell you just enough (so you can't figure it out.

Take it easy,

Coraview

It's not illegal if they give it to you. It is if you steal it.

Now, mate, you have been warned. The next time you decide to argue with me over this, I will not be as easygoing as I am right now.

There are plenty of projects here to build without you having to ask for schematics to items still in production.

Now you know. Don't do it again.
