For those of you who own the AT Pro, any tips for a new user?

Welcome to the forum.   And the first tip for ALL users regardless of the machine is read the manual at least twice, go out and use the machine for a few hours, taking notes (either mentally or on paper), and then come back and read the manual again.   You'll be surprised the number of "ah ha" moments you will have with the 3rd reading.

Good advice from BA, as always. Take the time to really learn your machine. The computer inside is good but the best computer you have available is the computer between your headphones. Trust your brain. The more you use your AT Pro, the better your results will be.

If you're like most of us, you'll be getting sore calves and thighs from all the kneeling and standing. It happens to the best of us at the start of the season. Just be ready with the Ibuprofen and in a few days, you'll be fine. I'm still sore from going out this week.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

I use construction style knee pads. Cheap at any hardware store two to a package. I only use one so the other is always in reserve.
