Anybody have any thoughts on the new Ace 350 that is supposed to be out next month? Has anyone actually seen one yet?

Garrett had extensive field tests with the new machine done but the results aren't published yet. Apparently they found small shot at a good depth on a Civil War battlefield. I'm looking forward to seeing the results, being a huge Garrett fan.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

I wonder if they did away with the annoying Bell Tone? I am without a detector right now but thinking about getting back into it. Not sure if i would go with that new Ace or another Tesoro Compadre or U-Max.

This might be a good choice for all the new detectorist's that have been asking on our forum about a beginner machine. New Higher frequency and "Enhanced Iron Resolution" plus a larger search coil . Thank-you for posting about this new product Everyone !!

Arrrrrgggg.  I just bought an ACE250 a month or so ago...did extenxive research on finding the best detector for my buck, saw nothing about this new 350 comming out unil I went looking for accessories for my 250...wish I woulda known they were comming out with this upgraded detector, I would have waited and bought it.  I'm hoping the new coil will be compatible with my 250, then I could at least increase my depth and range, wouldnt have the upgraded iron resolution but would make me feel a little better about having bought a soon to be outdated unit.

I notice they claim improved performance in highly mineralized ground or salt water.  My 250 doesn't do that well on beaches so that will be good.  Still think I'll stick with my old GMH CX II.

Hello, As far as I know these have not been shipped as yer, but are due out anyday now. The only upgrades was in the way of the larger coil and meter display area, as I was told. There should be an increase in depth as well as ground coverage due to the larger coil size ( 8.5x11). The 350 features a higher frequency of operation and inhanced iron resolution, which to me are not as interesting as the new coil. We should be getting these in very soon, I'll try one out and let you know how well it scores. JP staff Metal Detector Distributors NYC  metdetdist@aol.com if anyone has any questions on anything.
