Does anyone know if there is a code in the Garrett serial number for date of manufacture? I'm looking at a Infinium in a pawn shop. Looks good but they have no info on it. #3208 1595

Just email bradk@garrett.com he is in the service dept. He has always gotten back to me real quick when i have any ?'s like that. Or if they will let you, you can peel the stiskers on the coil and the date stamed on it will give you a pretty good idea what year it was made.

I got an email back from Brad at Garrett. He told me it is from August of 2002. The number is 3208 1595 so I would guess the 2nd(2) number is the year and the 3rd and 4th(0 and Cool number is the month.  He also told me that updates are available for 27.50 labor and 12.50 shipping and handling plus any parts to bring it up to spec.

Good deal glad you got it all worked out, and sorry about the spelling in my first post. I must have been tired.

No probs. Understood perfectly. Now to see if I can get it for real cheap because it is 8 years old! Wish me luck! Wink
