Go Up Go Down

Need advice:
We're going to be in the field for L O N G  hours swinging our detectors.  I'm concerned about my wife ,who might not be able to detect without assistance due to weak wrists.
I heard of Doc's Swingy Thingy etc.
We have Garrets and Fischers.
Does anybody have any experience and willing to offer advice?

I thought of that BUT, I did some research, on line and found comments on the Swingy THingy vs knock offs and they say threr's a lot top be desired from the knock offs.
It the copies are inferior what would a lawn impliment be compared to a specialized item?Huh?
Just a thought
THanks of rthe advice, though.

You're right and I lke the idea of saving money but my point is how can a weed wacker strap compare to a device that has people fining it superior to it's copies.
If the copies aren't as good as the original how well  would the weed wacker sling compare?
Some people found that the copies  balance was off, it didn't attach so well , they had to disconnect it when they knealed down etc.
THe question, now is, is the difference worth the dollars?Huh?
I actually made one but can't judge it because I never saw or used a "real" one.

i don't see any problem at all kneeling down with the weed wacker sling it slides right out of the way no problem, it has a clamping device that fits on all the detectors that i've seen them on including mine, but ultimatly it's your choice.

You didn't say you were using one.
GREAT.
Can you tell me about it?
Do you think it helps with taking the weight off the arm allowing more time swinging?

absolutely it will, you slip it over your shoulder,it takes the weight, and it is fully adjustable.
