Go Up Go Down

I was brought up in a town called Negaunee in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan. It was the site of the first iron ore discovered in the great lakes region and was heavily mined. This caused the town to cave in in areas and a large chunk of the town had all the buildings moved or torn down. The land was left to nature and fenced off. When you go there it has roads, sidewalks. and old foundations left from the 1950's  and 1960's when it was abandoned. It can be a metal detectors Paradise if you know where things were.

Sound like a fun area to swing  a detector or even to screen for non-metallics.
