this little guy with no arms was living in a little hamlet & could hardly never get any work.nobody much paid any attention to him cause he was always dirty & scrounging for scraps.
one day he heard the church needed a bell ringer,so he went & asked for the job.
the preacher said he couldn't give it to him cause he couldn't pull the rope to ring the bells.but the guy said he could do it by running at the bell and butting his head into it,so the preacher gave him the job.
was working out real good.the hour would come & he would run full blast & smack into the bell with his head,hour after hour,day after day.
then one day he was running to ring the bell and he slipped & fell down thru the bell tower & out into the street. he laid there as a crowd gathered above him & one lady asked "who is this man,does anyone know his name?" to which someone replied "i don't know his name,but his face rings a bell"
