I was soooooo excited to buy a Tesoro Eldorado off of Craigslist for $115 plus $25 for shipping. A month later and no detector. Online classifieds are great for finding good deals, but make sure you use PayPal. Because I did use PayPal, my money will be refunded. Just a heads up for those of you looking to make a purchase online.

Peace

Sean

Well done. I use either my secured Visa or PayPal for every web purchase. Your advice is spot-on! Pay attention to this man, everyone.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Good advice Sea. I hated pay pal at first, at the time I was selling on ebay a lot and to me it was just one more place taking my money. But they have saved me several time lately and refunded my money, so now I love them.
I buy a lot off the net for resale at the shop and have a bank account and debit card set up just for that I only keep a few bucks in it so if its hacked I want loss much.

Sorry about the Tesoro Eldorado but keep looking you will find one.

Seldom, good advice. My secured Visa is a debit card with just enough in it to use when I need to make a purchase. They offer the same protection as the regular Visa card and no annual fee. In fact, my credit cards are all empty. I never use them any more. Just keep them for emergencies.
