Thanks to all who read and respond.....

I am seeking as much info I can find on the true location of Hendrick's Lakes, near Tatum, Tx...near the Sabine River....

As the story goes, J. Lafitte hid some silver bars there.... possibly several million dollars worth... Its possible some artifacts have been found dating to that period of time..and possibly few silver bars also recovered.... this particular story may have some good merit to it....  I have recently purchased a H3Tec scanner/detector and am currently being schooled in its proper use....Nothing can hide from the H3Tec...  If the Gold or Silver is there, its location will be noted...

I am seeking info and or one or two others with similar interest to assist or partner with me to locate this treasure...I would prefer individuals who have a knowledge of the area, and possibly maybe even know some of the local people....would be an ideal partnership,... I am willing to speak to all who have an interest...

Thanks for reading my post...and any help yo0u may be able to offer...

Thanks for reply....

I am currently living in Orange, TX about 2 miles from Sabine River, near the coast...... I own a small demolition company and have a State contract helping uninsured people with their hurricane damaged homes....I primarily work in Port Arthur and Beaumont...possible moving to work in the Galveston area on next new contract...in maybe a month or so....

Besides the Hendricks Lakes Treasure, I am interested in searching for gulf coast treasure that may be too deep for conventional metal detectors.... the H3Tec has incredible depth and distance....much, much, much deeper than a conventional metal detector...

Thanks,

KlondikeIke

Thanks for your help... and the link...I have read this one before and it does make an interesting story...I am currently working with some people who has actually been there... got a good hit with an underwater detector and we are currently planning the excavation, once the summer comes in and the rains slow down...

Thanks again for your help....
