Whenever I visit England, I buy a new road map. Guess what? They all have the old Roman roads indicated on them. At least the tourist maps do.

Ordance Survey do a map nationwide all know Roman roads are listed on it.
Interesting read 3 books by the Author Raymond Selkirk
The Piercebridge Formula
On The trail of the Legions
and Chester le Street and its place in History.
all threes books will give you an insight of the Roman transportation system back then.
