No, bullets wouldn't leave impact holes in rocks unless the rock was very soft, like gypsum or perhaps fine grained sandstone. Even sandstone would be a large crater without much depth. Also, I doubt anyone would be stupid enough to shoot at a flat rock face more than once because of the ricochet. The pictures are too small at any rate to identify anything. Can you upload something else than a thumbnail photo? Try one that is at least 150k or more in size.

Guys,

Got some idea about these unusual rocks just right my neighborhood. Some of strangers keep coming around it and telling some stories of allegedly buried treasures on it.
Am only a novice in the field that i come to confusion in some sort of the stories seems real. One of them told me that it really contains about 75 kg of gold.
Are these leads and markers of real treasure?
Please help ME that i can move these stones and unveil the treasure they are telling me.

Thank you guys.

hello guys

some of the rocks in the area is very unusual in its shapes and i think they are somewhat markers or lead to the treasure. People from around here keep on visiting and looking for the loot if ever. I don't know about stone markings anyway, but if you can tell me something about these it would help me understand the interest of these people.
Please help me.

Thanks guys.

First, don't be stupid and move the rock with the holes like somebody suggested.

Just got through reading a 3 part true story from NE AZ posted in Treasure Magazine about 3 treasure hunter & their big paydays. This was posted on another forum I go to, Don't know about posting links to other forums here, so I did'nt.

1st artical August 1986 82 lbs of gold was found.
2nd artical June 1987 37 lbs more of gold was found.
3rd artical 132 lbs more of gold was found. Date of artical ? They found holes in a rock to trangulate to even more gold (the 132 lbs).

This show why you don't move your markers. They used maps, MDers & looked for oddities in the turain.......even GPSed idems are off by many feet.

Reading how others solved their issues treasure hunting gives you new insight in what to look for & what to research.

Good Hunting !

HaRM

Move the rocks lmao. Come on its all hear don't move anything lol Oh I guess grid referencing is a little hard for ya! Use a 8 figure grid reference on a 1/25000 topographical map its more accurate then gps. But you have to know how to use a compass and a map first  Wink Gps is a great tool but there are other ways also to do this, and gps needs electricity which equals $$$$$$.   Shocked
