Go Up Go Down

A few months ago I got into meteorite hunting due to a injury that put me out of my line of work. All I have was a magnet I fixed on a stick. This lead me to these sites and other things like Metal Detecting and Prospecting. Well I thought I had a meteorite impact site. After researching it and putting it out here, I realized I had an open mining pit, a old one. Then I was lucky enough to get a old copy of about 60 sights here in New Mexico that the Indians used. Now that was a life changer.

I have been researching Spanish Treasure signs and following up with quick field trips to get a better eye for what is out there. My area is loaded with plenty to see. I cant help ya if your doing KGC, and I am only just starting on Jesuits codes, and sun symbols. One example of my research allowed me to use a Easter Calender of script to unlock a part of a Jesuit code. My last symbol is a Property owner signature I believe now.

Anyway, I didnt fit in at first. But after I get serious a lot of things happened fast. So want to say thanks to GD, AU,  and Seldom, and Homefire for all their help. I would have went off into the desert raving mad if I didnt stop in here and throw some ideas at em.

Today I got the courage up to document a site. Boy was I blown away. I dont know if the next site is gonna be this good. But I am fired up. I have a lot of pictures to go through. I can tell you it was nothing but dry holes today. Bu the guys before me missed a bunch of stuff. Thank goodness its on level ground. I had to crawl the last 500 feet straight up, under bushes, using hand helds that hadnt been used in a hundred years or more. But It was worth it.

The picture has several symbols in it, and of a design I feel its rather old. Before the kings rules applied. The design of the area had excellent stone work, but nor use of timbers and such. I found three maybe four different trails here, so separating them was a chore. Please enjoy the pictures. Oh, and thanks guys for the help. I have been bugging every knowledgeable person who would answer for weeks now.

I did not find this site by markers alone. As a matter of fact, the markers would lead you astray. I used geology, archeology, and some voodo I dont even know how to explain. I have many riddles, but I dont need to re visit the site. I can move onto other sites now, as this is one of five sites located at the moment.

Nice researching, something like that would keep the fires burning in me for a long time.  If you find any artifacts please post them as well, and any more pics of any new sites you uncover.  Thanks

I do have many pictures of the surrounding area with many types of possible trail signs. As for Artifacts, well here it is a no no, to even touch them.

The Organ Mountains are said to be the possible site of several finds. One being the Lost Padre La Rue mine. I think I have proof that something was there. But need to get some BLM maps and check for off limits areas. This fall I promise some awesome pictures for people to make their own mind up.

Just waiting for the weather to break.

Go Up Go Down

Just a follow up up. I found a old silver mine. I was able to find some raw ore, very low grade. Rock Hounding is ok, and this was hidden in a hollowed out rock. I met another hunter like myself who informed me what I had and he could check the mineral rights for me. I am not into mining, just the hunt.

I have located some other trails which I am trying to get good pictures and not the blurred ones I have now.

Go Up Go Down

I do my armchair stuff in the air conditioning in the summer.

I did follow the trail out for several miles and ended up near a Indian Reservation. Since I was on my way there anyway for some day use camping I will have to follow up once the leaves are off the trees and I can get better pictures. I plan on spending time on the Rio Grande once the water is shut off this also.

Have a 1/4 ton of samples to work up.......gonna be bust a bit Im afraid. Anyone got a wheel I can borrow?
