Looks like a very hard rock too. Did you check the rock itself for mineral? Maybe a hand held detector or more sophisticated one? I would also tone the brightness of the picture down a bit so we can see what you have circled. Early morning and late afternoon when the sun is almost gone works best for me in pictures.

I wont tell you to stop looking or build up your rock. It just looked out of place like a rock you see in a parking lot to keep semi-trucks from going into them.

I tried to enhance it, but it's just not enough pixels to resolve well.  Probably should take the picture again as casca stated.

I do enjoy the post like these. But is it a neat rock, or what we want to see.I have rocks you can not get the picture no matter how you take it. I wont say there is a map there. But do know you can find many things in rocks. I am a rock hound, so I just love rocks.

I never discourage finding things. Just dont get fixated on the rock dude. Theres a lot more out there. Homefire I have some neat Alien stuff for ya too, but will spare everyone the months of post that would follow.

I would not put a lot into one rock Mr. Bryant. So far any maps on rocks I have found have been in a cave or buried. I dont know your area or history. I always start at the library. If you know it to be a map, say its a family secret. Please let us know more about it.

You have some real knowledgeable old timers here who wont let you go astray. Im just the new guy and learning. The time and effort to get the pictures I posted could have been better spent doing something else.

Mintaro....in pic 2 and 3 I see what might be a overall map of the area.  Go online and find a Terrian Map of the area of the rocks
and see if it lines up with these marks on this rock.
