Hello Soulis 1

Maybe for that story. But I know of the claims and counter claim of theft from the rival Greek factions after the war. I think you onto some thing with what you are doing, but you may need if you already haven't found more background information.

One of problems I see where you is that your country is so full of history and it can be easy to take a symbol out of context.

O Drama is located in the northeastern part of Macedonia, on the border with Bulgaria. Administratively within the Region of Eastern Macedonia and Thrace

In historic times, the Thracian tribes brought the cult of Dionysus and subdued at the end of the classical era to King Philip, while the area is the limit of the Roman colony of Philippi. In Byzantine times, the castle of Drama knows successive Byzantine and foreign sovereign. Eventually in 1383 and until 1912, the site passes the power of the Ottomans, and shocked at the end of the Makedoniko Games. Apeleftheronetai 1 July 1913.

The space activities of rebel groups in Fosteridi Anthony (Anthony Tsaous) were in the mountains of Eastern Macedonia and Bulgarian occupation. These groups were placed under the command of the Allied General Headquarters Middle East (and ELAS) and consistently fought the Bulgarians and ELAS.

The Fosteridis were Turkish-speaking Pontian refugee and lived in Krinides of Kavala. He went underground in 1942 and in 1943 was appointed head of a small rebel group, most of them were villagers. In October 1943 came in conjunction with other independent groups in the region, for mutual aid society to the pressures of ELAS be okay on his forces.

The ELAS made the first decisive step towards civil war: On December 16, 1943 suddenly attacked the "reactionary" Paggaio insurgent groups, which until then had cooperation against the Bulgarians. There were dead, wounded and prisoners. The dilemma of "reactionaries" were clear: either we formed unconditional ELAS, either by fighting. According to Hadjianastassiou, ELAS made preparations to "liquidate" and the term besoms recipe, which operated the Fosteridis after Paggaio. Note that by then the Allied Military Mission (SGP) only supplies ELAS with weapons, munitions and other material.

The Fosteridis acted quickly, with the determination and cruelty that characterized him. On New Year's Day 1944 performed 16 or 19 ELAS guerrillas, those who had reached besoms recipe by surprise and captured the others, who later performed. His next move was to "kidnap" the Major Guy Mithkelgoueit (Miller), head of the SGP, with business in Bald Drama. In Miller said absolutely loyal to the exiled Greek government (of Cairo) and willing to execute the commands.

Miller was seeking such a rebel body in the sky and found it unexpectedly in the mountains of Macedonia pleaded overjoyed. So soon arrived in Fosteridi weapons, ammunition, clothing and pounds. Since spring 1944 the college began action against the Bulgarians, but also ELAS, who attacked again, without success. Until the release (September 1944) the nationalist rebels Fosteridi were in constant conflict with the Bulgarian occupation forces.

Even if it was a treasure sign or symbol, it is useless because you have no idea if something this small has been moved. You have an interesting rock with a carving. Treasure it.
