From the land of the Bluenose.....well the old saying, "Nothing ventured nothing gained " sure held true yesterday as the dig in Noel was a bust. Got to meet Ed's main squeeze Nell and was a pleasant outing but with no cannonballs nor oldies found.<center>[img width= height=]http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b7db34b3127cce84f6d283f13700000026108AcM2bhk4ZN2[/img]</center> Did sweep an old ballfield that was pretty stingey.....something like Jim Palmer giving up hits in his prime. Have to put me on the disabled list as I got an aweful sore, stiff neck after playing an exhibition game later that day which we lost. Went 4/5 with a walk but looked pretty lame screwing myself ito the ground trying to reach an outside pitch.

A few folks out strolling with their dogs passed by but otherwise a nice peaceful dig.
