From the land of the Bluenose....Marie slept in so I headed out with Digger Dan and his lady Patty to do a little shoot and scoot at a local school. Of course the first stop was Tim's for some go go juice and a nice tea biscut.
Had the place to ourselves at the start.<center>[img width= height=]http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6cf30b3127cce8f470d8db0c100000016108AcM2bhk4ZN2[/img]</center> and the dynamic duo started penny popping as I was loading (fresh batteries) up my back up Garrett Freedom 3 Plus that I had purchased from French Dave for just such an occasion.
Everything was perfect for digging and dig we did. Had my quota in less than an hour and added a silver defrocked St. Christopher medal to my growing pile.
Then this weird lady came by and gave me lip about digging holes in the field that kids play in. I was cordial and didn't say what was on my mind...had to step on me tongue big time from retorting. Lord love a duck! The cement area was full of broken glass with garbage and doggie dew galore not too mention the little druggie bags strewn all over the field. Anyway saw her grab her cell phone from the pocket and make a call. Rather then wait to see what happens and to avoid any problems we decided that discrestion was the better part of valour and left even though I know the police would have done nothing...if they ever came!
