Go Up Go Down

From the land of the Bluenose......sure was nice to get to bed this morning after a work night spent dodging, bambis, rabbits and porcupines on the inner perimeter fence line. Looks as if the coyotes will eat well this summer by the number of rabbits hopping around. Was kind of bored around 0230 hours so I used the patrol vehicle to chase a porcupine down the road and give him the five minute workout. Critters sure run funny! This came back to haunt me as I dreamed all last night that a giant one was chasing me.

Woke up to a fair to midland type of day and dutifully did the domestics then headed out the door to dig. On the Cobequid Rd heading out Goquicksi almost mated with a Buick being driven by a lady who was busy yaking away on her cell phone while making a left hand turn right in my path.

Anyway arrived in one piece and headed up an abandonded road behind the old railroad stop. Mister man the garbage and contractors debris was everywhere making detecting an almost impossible task. Came upon this old wreck and thought to myself that folks in those days too complained of high power rates and took their spite out on this derelict vehicle as was evident by the amount of bullet holes in it.

Did manage one coin here and a weird one it is. Know it is silver and Eygptian but what year and how it got there haven't a clue.

Had enough of this trash pit quickly an adjourned to a nearby park/playing field in search of a few coins and a piece of jewelry to keep that streak alive. With a background noise of a an over zealous pheasant I began to swing and soon had mounds of coins and a key. Can't wait till the water here is warm enough to do a swish in as I'm sure there are some goodies lurking at the bottom.

Time passed away too quickly and it was time to head hoe for supper. Take for the day was a key, the Eygptian coin and 137 coins @ $11.92.

Nice haul!

Watch out for those giant critters in your dreams....the chase can wear a person out. Grin
