Hey Steve,
You don't know what your missing.
Haggis is great as long as you pluck it first, it's especially good with turnips and potato's. We eat it once a week year round.

With friendly greetings from Bonnie Scotland,
Ian & Eileen

Ian & Eileen

I hope I didn't sound offensive with my  comment on haggis. It's just the fact that I like to cook and I've  heard the term before and have a general idea what it is. To be quite frank with you- it doesn't sound all that appetizing but I have had many things that I thought I would never eat and actually like them- so there's still hope for me yet!!!!

No offence taken Steve.

I can't say that I blame you, we once read an old Scottish cookery book with the recipe for haggis and it sounded absolutely horrible.

But, the proof of the pudding is in the eating.
It's particularly good in the winter time as some recipes can be very peppery.
(hot) Sometimes we have it with bacon & eggs as well.
I'd better stop as I realise this is off subject, don't want Christian barring me.

With friendly greetings,
Ian & Eileen

Leslie, I have heard that you hunt hard spots like me..is it true?
I always say that if you hit the easy spots only, someone has probably beaten you to them

Doc... I've seen Leslie's replies to a few different inquisitions on different sites about the "bluenoser", but that's gotta  best the best so far...!  Cheesy
