From the land of the Bluenose...ummmmmmmm! Up! Goquickski with a full belly and work hours away.................time to go a digging. Forgoing domestic duties I headed down the Bedford Basin and tried the park again with limited success so it was off to another spot where I knew there was silver but was a rough area to hunt.

Here the thorns did a number on my legs but it paid off with this pair of bouys and a bell. Worn on the date side (1911 to 1936 was the issue of coins with his face on them) but still silver.

Having got the silver fix it was time to move on to the daily quota at a local park. Here I did the penny popping thing, the key thing and the dinkie thing and the "Mighty Mac thing". Total for the two hour outing was 2 silver George V, bell, dinkie, key, zipper dewy and 53 coins @ $1.58
