From the land of the Bluenose..hooked up today with Digger Dan who is a newbie who I instantly took a liking to as he took my advice and purchased a little yellow fellow! Showed him the basics and set him loose on the playing field on a north end Halifax school. I was doing along the edge of the field when I found Tinkerbell's silver ring. Man this has to be the smallest silver ring I have ever found. Meanwhile Digger Dan was on the other side getting used to the pinpointing of targets and having a good time. Big smile on his face when he pulled up a twoonie $2 coin) as I dug up one of those cap rockets. Man havent seen one of those since I was about 12....well me son that was long before recorded time without a doubt! Must say I still feel like a little kid every time I go out a digging!
Well the day was coming to an end as I had taken the night shift off work to attend our year end umpire party which includes all you can eat and drink plus our paychecks! Dig netted Digger Dan about 25 coins while I ended up with the silver ring, cap rocket and 61 coins @ $9.78<center>[img width= height=]http://im1.shutterfly.com/procserv/47b6ce00b3127cce8e030939b42f00000016108AcM2bhk4ZN2[/img]</center>
