I'm sure I could copy and paste my original rantings into an email, send it to the proper company with a few specifics, and recieve a free non-metallic 2 inch digging tool as a peace offering.   Things might change for awhile, who knows. Then I'd get my name highlighted on some company list as one of the "special koo koo bird" customers that only the managers Karl or John can deal with him.  This thread was more of an editorial comment then anything.  

One of the "Knowledgable expert sales staff"  could not help me choose between fixed and manual ground balance machines because they did not understand it themselves and avoided my questions "Just pick that one", they said.  The other one told me that such and such machine had a special feature on it and when I told her it did not because I was looking at it on their website, she said "Well it may not be listed but I used that machine and you can just feel it".  WHAT?  If they didn't go to the lengths that they do to brag about all of them being experts, this all would not matter.  That was my point.  I still buy from them, I just don't ask their expert advice any more.
