Go Up Go Down

Well, I am in the midst of getting permission in hunting a Daycare building.  The building is quite old.  My mother is telling me, whom works there, she doesn't think I will find much.  Just because where the little children play, in wood chip tot lots, don't have nothing to loose in it.

I think there would be something there.  I just want to ask of everyone, if it is worth it not. But, since it is an old place that is what gets my attention.

Thanks for anything in advance,

~Metal_Inspector~

Remember that it is not what it is now, it's what it was before. What was that building before it was a daycare. That is where history plays in to it. It could have been a business, or a meeting hall (grange), or even a bank. Find some old maps of the area or old photos. Step back and look around. All the new buildings in the area were not there. Work on the who, what, and where and have fun doing it. Good Hunting.

I would hunt it! You never know what's hiding in the ground. Wink

Thanks guys.  I think I just needed some advice and words from you all.  I am not for sure exactly what it used to be, but I believe the building to be about 80 years old.  I will ask in about three days and hopefully get there in the next week to see what will come up.

Thanks again.

even if its a daycare there are caregivers and maintenance people etc that can lose things. Also children tend to pick up shineys and forget them when done playing Who knows?

Who knows, maybe one of the tots got into mommy or daddy's coin collection and lost a really valuable coin playing with it in the tot lot--stranger things have happened! Great Detecting Idea
