How much do you know about the coins you're finding?

How many presidents have appeared on our coins?

How many non-presidents?

Who were they?

Here's a fun little quiz to test your powers of coin observation.

Lets see there's the Lincoln penny, Jefferson nickel, FDR dime, Washington quarter, Franklin and Kennedy half dollar, Eisenhower Dollar, Susan B Anthony dollar, Sacagewea dollar(exuse the spelling) and all those presidential and first lady dollars. The rest were all various liberty images and the indian on the buffalo head is not any specific person.

So not counting the presidential series six presidents have appeared on coins

I forgot about the Pres Dollar coins.

The Kid sold candy bars for the school and came home with a Jackson Dollar the other day.

Last week some kid at McDonald's tried to give me a Sac' dollar as a quarter. I bought it from him and have it in my pocket right now.

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.
