Howdy Howdy, new to the game, but nice to see this place, and to see helpful information. Cruising the net because I am in the "Which detector to get without paying big price mode." My birthday quota is pretty much done, and I\d better not push it. I seem to come up with the hunter 4 and the garret 150/250. I found your article for the seben, but only see everyone slamming it. No body works for these other ones on the sly, do they? I would like a deep detector for cheap. I live on a tropical island with HISTORY, and just used a whites prizm 2, found a coin on the second hole, whoohoo! '86 but still, came from columbia. Had a pulse 8x but I belaeive guardian spirits broke it, and until I can get the thing soldered, I need something that will work. How deep can these hunter4 and garrtet detect a chest O'gold?
  Thanx.
   Joe joe
