Those are great ideas, Karl and Ridge Runner. I am going to try and implement those in the next few weeks and see what becomes of it. I will keep track of everything in the meantime, and if it looks like I can make a go of it as a side business for tax purposes, I will do that as well. This forum has been a godsend, hopefully I will be able to contribute to others as much as I have received!

I got some friends on the local PD , and they have there own Metal detectors and use them, according to them even had factory reps come and train & demostrate how to use them etc.  and if this little hick town has them then I am sure most of the bigger places have them also. Goverment agencies here will mostly have there own also. I know the military does.

A great directory for Metal Detectors out there in the world who can find stuff for a fee is "theringfinders.com"  Started by a guy out in Vancouver helping people who have lost their rings.
