Just got finisher with the artical, I never see them say anything when a detector gives  the stuff back or donates the find for the public, wheres those articals. some day.

Blue we get the same ole &%£p on this side of the pond too, but most of us report our finds and go through the proper channels, we even help them on digs, and if we all do our bit we can work with such people and save this hobby, and most of all our herritage,

Reading something like this is distressing. It shows a very one sided view of the entire mass of us whether we do questionable things or not. Most of the folks here on this forum are straight up people who only accidentally do things that are even worrisome.

I don't like this at all.

Well over here we have been call thieves, Grave robbers and thats just the good things,

Imagine for a second, if you said this to the mueseum staff or their Arkies who dig up skellingtons and dig up multipul graves and burieal sites, they would have you in court up on charges and sue the life out of you,  So how does that make me a grave robber, because I have never dug up a grave

On one dig in the 1980s Arkies threw out 95% of the metal artifacts with the spoil removed from the site, 10 years Later they went back with the help of metal detectorist and found and recoverd 85% of these Artifacts

Well that in its self should tell the world whos right and whos wrong, but ofcoarse they dont mention this when they are putting us down

I agree OM these pionty headed boobs are quick to condem but very slow, or never, to applaud the MD'er that reports his finds.  Typicalblock heads who think that nobody should dig in the ground except them.  I love to be able to dress down one of these idots.
