Most treasure hunters know about getting leads from books and magazines. But often, local citizens can help you find places that have not yet been searched.

How to dig out these secrets? I explain all in my latest podcast.

Dan

I use locals for leads quite a bit  myself.  I've had a number of older people who will go on and on about different places they went when they were younger and once you've talked with them for awhile about different things it tends to jog the memory and they will remember things that they haven't thought about in years.  A lot of them are happy for the company and conversation while at the same time getting to go over "old times".  Great source of information.

Good podcast.  Keep up the good work.

But as far as talking to locals, I spend a lot of time in coffee shop and hardware talking to the other geezers getting leads, and local history, lotta fun, and some free coffee too Grin Grin
