On dry sand, it's as good as any other machine. In wet sand, you'll have to come back and tell us how it worked for you. Every machine is different and you just have to fiddle with them to make them work in the salty, wet areas.

Out of all the detectors I have to chose from my Quick Draw is still my favorite in dry sand it will work OK in wet sand it needs to be turned back to about 70% sensibility and  discriminate up high which rules out finding nickles and small gold rings
