Go Up Go Down

This day isn't the best because of a find or or anything dug up. Its the best because it was the first time my son went with me. He done a fantastic job and learned a lot about this wonderful hobby, and the great thing is he really had a good time and is looking forward to going out again. I couldent be happier

Nice stuff!  That's awesome your son is taking an interest on your hobby.  My son thinks I'm nuts to get an MD (he is correct about being nuts, but not because of the MD Smiley )  I figure though when I start hauling loot in, he'll be out there with me...and if not, the grandson will be for sure when he is old enough:)

Thanks CCS I am sure your son will change his mind, I mean common we play in the dirt and pull stuff out of it and sometimes its cool stuff. No its not lead. A bell, a copper button, a steel plate, th item with the dimond shape cut out is what we believe to be what was strapped to the bottom of your shoe for traction, and some lose change. Things not in the picture. About 50 pull tabs LOL, a 2 1/2 in. Brass pipe fitting, wing nut, a pice of break line, some scraps and tin foil

Smiley It makes it better when you have someone to go hunting with... more so if its a family member, then you can sit down (at dinner time) and discuss your finds and research them together. I'm glad your son has also taken an interest in your hobby ... just need to convince the wife Grin ? then you can all go out for a family days MD'ing     Detecting
