Here are some bird bands that I have been lucky enough to find
I have one other one still packed away in a box someplace that is very small.
These are pretty neat to find because you can report them to the ministry.

Here's a close up of a couple; you can see that it would be hard not to know what you have.
The small one still had the birds leg attached to it, at first I thought it was stick. When I realized it was a bird band I new then that it was a leg :shock:
I called my buddy Mark over and asked him what it was, he pulled the leg out (he didn't know it was a leg) and said he didn't know what it was. I promptly thanked him for pulling the leg off and that it was a bird band
Some of these can go for big bucks, check ebay
I was offered $55.00 US for the larger band with the certificate, but I kept it
I've heard of some of the older ones fetching in the thousands!
When you find one take a note of when and where you found it for reporting purposes.
