Look at this GC-1023.
It was made in china, very affordable (under $100AU) with good reviews.
Never own one but I keep an eye for one.

Formidable Turn on and Go Detector.  If I had one I would Mod the Set Ground balance to pot.  We have some nasty ground conditions here.  There ground Bal Setting wouldn't do so well here.

Decent circuitry for the price but the construction looks weak.

A guy in the UK was looking for a simple starter machine with decent performance and went to one of our best stores over here.  Went home with a compadre.

What kind of hunting have you done with Tessoros? and where do you think they perform best?

Never have.. Just know some folks that have and do.  I don't know any that would part with the ones they have.  That tells me stuff right there.

Perform Best ?  I'm more into Prospecting the coin hunting but Tesoro has machines that excel in both.

Laser Hawkeye has a fair few fans over here, same circuit board as the tejon according to Tessoro marketing.
