Go Up Go Down

Within 1/2 mile of my home, I know of (for certain)  3 homes with  money buried in the yard because the old timers didn't trust banks, at one the family living there, knew of this guys life savings  buried near the back door, and they built a permanent patio over it,PERMANENT.
Another place the guy is still alive bout 85 yr old, very ill, been that way for years, and his father buried life savings in back yard (very small yard) tiny house, but no way will he let anyone look for it, I may try to buy this property when he checks out, as  I think i am the only one knows of this, but he'll probly outlive me, just for spite  Cry
The other place was a friend of mine,  has many rare coin and gold buried in 5 gallon cans buried by his father who was a collector, he was going to let me and help me  hunt and dig, and he knew where the stuff was buried, Well  Ol' Lannie up and had a stroke-died on me suddenly, bout a month ago, his family from far away is taking over everything, and not even thinking bout being helpful, so i'm still trying, I can even see the place from where I set right now,   OH  WOOOOE   IS me ,  FRUSTRATION=FRUSTRATION,  welll  MEBBE,  just MEBBE

Hello Bugar , It is an terrible feeling knowing that something of Great value is buried there , and you can not get to it , NOT  YET ANYWAY !! So you look for alternatives !!! The first thing you do before you start is calculate what the value  the "COIN CACHE" might be Today . If it is in the thousands of dollars , then see what the rental cost of a GPR image device is and then try to see from a distance or remotely where it is buried  without causing any trouble . If that does not work then offer the current owner of the property a percentage of the cache when you find it , but do not give him details of an exact location or details on how it is buried , and have a simple brief document [paper] that can be signed , verbal agreement's are  not any good . You do have options and I wish you luck and success , Thanks for sharing here a Very Good Subject !!!...................Regards....................Eugene52

That would drive me nuts!

It's one thing to hear stories, legends and rumors about buried loot and try to determine if the stories have any merit,
but to know it's there but out of reach is hard to take. I guess all you can do is research one that you can get access to and put your efforts there.

 Good Luck!
 Mike

Hi Bugar,

have you ever tried talking to anyone of them and aranging for a search with a finder's percentage?

I assume there are quite a lot of similar caches buried in backyards.

One guy had once contacted my friend Carl Moreland. His fatehr had buried a bunch of money (dollar bils) at his backyard, inside a tube. However a GPR would ahve been the only way to locate it.

Regards,

Christian

It is frustrating to know of the location but not get access to it.  I wish you luck on your searching.  Hopefully you can find a way.
