Does anyone out there have a minelab 70 or 705 and use the multi tones feature. If so how does it compare to the 3 tone feature?

I have tried using multi tones and just can't get the hang of it. Will probably keep trying though as I do notice on a ground surface test that you get a different tone for a zinc penny compared to a canadian penny. The TDI also reads 6 points higher on the canadian. Comes in as a dime. I use the 4 tones the most on my 705.

I use multi tones on mine, my beach is very trashy and it helps a bit to have as many tones as possible.
Pity it did not have the E.Trac tones, i think the X.Terra tones are a bit tinny.
