TD, nearly all experimentation leads to educating the experimenter. After all, even a negative answer yields knowledge. How many times have we all dug up that trash object before we learned what it sounded like? A pulltab may fool a detector into thinking it's a ring or vice versa, but the human ear can tell the difference when trained. Thus, when I hear a pulltab and know it is a pulltab, I take less care in removing it and my ability to reckon the target has come from years and years of experimental digging while I enjoy my hobby.

Like I've said many times before, you and I think a lot alike. Are you sure we aren't twins separated at birth?

It's all about that moment when metal that hasn't seen the light of day for generations frees itself from the soil and presents itself to me.

Hi I knew Vic Fiveash as 'Victor Burnett and June' when he was a professional magician touring all over the world.
Do you have any information about him and his family.photos etc.

Thanks

Steve

No, unfortunately I don?t, I did have some film material of him, but that got lost, and his wife still survives I believe.
There should be some info on the web (you?de have to Google it), and on Youtube, but otherwise, I don?t know of any place outside of maybe the Magic Circle, and I do know that there were rumours he was in talks with Shadow Detectors about a possible merger prior to his demise, so he may have info.

Like I said, a great loss.  No no!
