Hello All,
I am going crazy trying to find a well balanced detector that will find gold nuggets and still find coins. Just when I think I found a good one I read the reviews on it and they dont seem that great. Any help would be much appreciated. Budget is 400.00 to 500.00
Dave

Welcome from New Mehico.     $500.00 will not get you a New Gold Machine but you have hopes for a Decent Used one.

What part of the World are you hunting?

Tesoro has some good machines close to that price.

Do you want deep Gold or surface goodies.

Fisher makes a 70 Khz machine that can find Fly Poop Gold .   It will all be 5" or under in the ground.

20Khz is good on half Gram Nuggets down to 6 or 10 inches down depending on Ground conditions.

I will not own anything that does not have a Manual GB.

Only machines I know that are like that is the Garrett, Tesoro and Above your means Whites.

I am really liking the tesoro detectors. I will be hunting in Utah and Nevada. My problem is when I dont have time to drive far I want to be able to hunt coins around town. Thank you for your help.

Vaquero and Others have the Di scrim required for Coins while being high enough to find the small gold as well.

Life time Warranty is more then Cool.
